How To Prune Anubias Nan?

Hi one of the flowers one my anubias is starting to decay, how do I prune it? Do I just snap it off at the rhizome or do I cut it?

Also does anyone know of any faster growin java ferns or anubias for a low tech tank?

Just cut it

For low tech tanks, Anubias nana and Java Fern are usually your best options even though they grow slow. Though there are other fast growing plants that are well suited for low-tech tanks such as Bacopa Austrilis.

if you push the flower or leaf backwards carefully they just pop nicely off the rhizome
