How to move fish from tank with BBA?

I need to move some Cory's from my small tank to large tank. The problem is the small tank has black beard algae in it. Im not sure whether moving the fish will infect the large tank. Should I fast them for a couple days before adding them or will adding fish not cause BBA?

The fish do not cause or transfer bba.

You’ll should be fine transferring fish without transferring bba or any kind of algae for that matter really.

BBA is normally caused by an imbalance in your tank, usually poor water quality by overfeeding, lights and c02 deficiency.
