How To Make A Betta Friendly Filter

Firstly take a fluval 1plus internal filter

seperate the motor part and the canister

on the nozzle where the water is pumped out, melt some plastic over the end to stem the flow

i found that this still wasnt enuff, sooo i took apart my spare fluval 2, and saw there was a piece of plastic that moved that cud be adjusted from the outside to stem the flow

so i made my own and melted some more plastic in the same place on the fluval one, and voila! nice gentle water flow
