hi how do i get rid of snails in my tank i have currently got no plants as i sold them but i got loads of snails the tank inhabitants are 6 pseudomugil furcatus 3 male 3 female and also 1 oto to control algae. how can i get rid of snails with out hurting my fish......................................

There is a sticky in the amphibian and invertebrate forum about dealing with them that’s more comprehensive than I would be.

It is discussed in the sticky mentioned above and I have used it recently in my PFK cube. It takes 3-4 weeks to sort the snails out, but it is a very safe method of getting rid of unwanted snails that does not affect fish, shrimps, plants or filter bacteria. Very cheap too, about £5 inc P&P for the amount you would need.
