Well, after giving up on my fish-in cycle, im starting a fishless cycle tomorrow after re homing my fish.

While i do the fishless cycle (im thinking it wont be that long as i already have SOME good bacteria)

How can i keep my plants alive. Obviously i dont want them covered in brown algae and they will be subjected to high levels of ammonia.

Will they be ok or should i put them in a bucket or what...?

they will be ok in the tank

they probably will get covered in algae but this wont harm the plants. they will use the ammonia as a form of nitrition although only a very little bit

i would just leave them in the tank. maybe adding a good fertilizer occasionally such as TPN+ would be good

what plants are they
