hi everybody is there some sort of viagra for fish lol they dont seem to be doing anything (having sex) the female guppys go to the males but there not intrested ive give up on egg layers to hard so the small tank ive put all my guppys (f) x6 and 2x males what can i do to get the ball rolling with them cheers

how long have you had them? could the females be already pregnant?
normally people have no problem breeding as males are such randy little buggers

about 3 are and theres 3 that look very slim like the males but there not even intrested in them

are you sure they are females then? even when not pregnant they should be bigger than males

i have a male balloon mollie and he refuses to mae with the females LOL. i'm going to be getting rid of him shortly and replace him with another.


i found that if you have another male with amale there is competiton and one may shy away or get chased away causing him to hide or not mate.

there definitly 3 females there, they will already be pregnant, all livebearers carry sperm packets for up to 6 months...

ya i was kinda worried about my male livebearers, but then i realized that all the females look really fat already... and they were probably pregnant when i bought them XD

wait a few weeks and if there are still problems then come back

how weired 3 of my guppys looks small like the males but have the black gravid spot at back but very thin why are they having trouble
