hi guys.

i change anout 40% ofmy water in my tank about a week ago and prior to doing this i had no issues, after doing this my fish started to die at about the rate of 1 a day, i did a water check tonight and my nitrate result has come back at way over 100ppm.
how do i fix this? and what will have created this issue?

thanks for any help,

When did you last change the water before this?

To lower the amount of nitrate in the water, you should do a water change to get that down to around 50ppm.

What other levels of chemicals do you have in your tank?

It might be an idea to check your tapwater and see what the nitrate level is in the incoming supply.

i did a change about a week ago, the other chemical test came back as ok that was the only 1 that had a real issue,
