The last few inchs wont come out of the gravel suction, any ideas what to do it just drips then stops

i had this problem with my 260L fluval tank

i used a length of hose and syphoned it right down, got some in my mouth though, yuk!!!!

then i lifted 1 end slightly, and got the rest,i needed help as the 260 tank is very heavy,if you have a small tank its shouldnt be to hard

is there still gravel in there?

no gravel was cleaning out with washing up liquid and water bottom of tank

You should be able to siphon down to 1/2" or less. Once it is this low, lift one end and continue siphoning the rest.

At this point the tank should be little more than wet, a large old towel soaks up the rest.
