Hi all,

Im getting a 220L Tank and i really want it to look amazing, was just wondering if any of you have any tips for me.

I have tried live plants in the past and found them really difficult to look afer, and at the minute my 20g tank looks really sad, all it has is a plastic tree/plant thingy and a big plastic tree stump (for a hiding place) Im not very creative so i really hope you can help

Thanks guys :D

Well, you could try a natural look with silk plants if you have problems w/live, they don't look as fake as plastic. Also you could add a big piece of driftwood, and some rocks. I usually try to do some research on where they fish I keep live in the wild and incorperate some of their surroundings, if that makes sense. Here are a couple of pics of what I've done if that helps.

29gal community w/silk plants, rocks, and driftwood. I've changed it around since this, but you get the idea.

75gal cichlid tank, you could try some of the rocks on a smaller scale and add plants if you're doing a community.

They both look lovely, thank you so much, i think ill deffinately be going for the silk plant idea, much better than plastic

Thanks

You're welcome, make sure you post pics when it's done. :good:

I think natural tanks are BEAUTIFUL. You know, sand, bogwood, plants... stuff that is found in normal fish habitats. Look at other peoples' tank for inspiration for your own. :)

Thanks for all your help, i'll post loads of pics as soon as its up and running :p
