How To Deal With Pop-eye

hi, have a sailfin mollie with pop-eye. One eye only, book says could be numerous things eg, fungus, bacterial infections, fish tb.

Doesn't suggest best way to deal with it. Prior to noticing it had to remove plattie for dropsy.

Suggestions please
