My country fish store never told things about ph or hardness of water they just let every fish live in normal water so i want to know how to do it, i have pleco discus, tetra algae eater barbs and always use normal water. @Colin_T @essjay @Byron

All those fish are soft water fish.

What is the hardness of your water? Does your water supplier have a website? Or you could buy a GH tester (most test strips include GH)
Until we know the hardness of your water we don't know if it is too hard for your fish or not.

IIRC you posted elsewhere that you have soft acidic water. If that is correct you don't need to do anything.
