i understand that it may stress the guppy, but i feel shes getting close, i have the 2 in one breeding trap so i can take the divider out so there will be plenty of space for my little guppy

but how soon is too soon to put her in there, beacuse i know, knowing my luck she'll have them when im at college and the other fish will eat them!

any ideas?

[ps shame on the breeding trap box for telling me i could keep 2 bettas in each compartment!!]

UPDATE: new pictures see last post, sorry no fry! =[

i put mine in the night b4 shes suposted 2 have babies and feed them that calms mine dwn

well the thing is i dont know when she is supposed to as she was bought pregnant =[

when her gravid spot gets really dark and she starts to look more square and with mine when once about to give birth the male follows her everywhere

well heres a pic of her now, as i have no other way to tell as there are no other males in the tank

her gravid spot dose look dark and she dose look quite big but im no good at telling when there about to have them i missed a couple of mine

and is she moving around or just stayin still? coz mine normaly just hide in the corner of the tank not doing anythink when there close to givin birth

shes hanging around the back not doing much and hiding out of view but still swims around but not as much as say yesterday
[shes usually with the other female darting around]

yh thats what mine dose to a couple of days before she gives birth
i agree with truckasauras123 i think it will be a couple more days yet

I suggest putting her in the breeding chamber at most 48 hours before she is ready to give birth. Guppies will usually give birth at night when it is dark and peaceful in the tank. The female will not eat and act very wierd (staying in corners, laying at the bottom of the tank, hiding in dense plants, etc.) the day before she gives birth.

so maybe later on tonight then? its 8.40 now and im usually up till late

but ill see how it goes!
