i have a fry in my tank (just one on its own) it is 3/4cm, there are platys endlers and corys in the tank but i think the fry is a platy because i only got the endlers a week ago, can anyone tell me how old it is, and do you think it'll survive?

its probably a couple of days old and if theres floating plants in there and its smart it will survive. Good luck.

If its 3/4cm long, or basically an inch long, i'd say its more likley to be 2months+ old if its a platy fry, its unlikley to get eaten by other fish as long as its too big to fit in their mouths and it should otherwise have no problems as long as its getting enough suitable food and the tank stocking and water quality is good and stable  .

Hi it should survive if plenty of plants, ive had quite a few survive seven the first time, then found anouther 2 a few weeks later, now found 2 more which im not sure weather there plattys or form the eag layers :D
Ivor

thanks, i'll keep an eye on him/her to make sure its getting enough food etc.
