How ofter should I clean the gravel?

In my small tank I have an under gravel filter, I have bought one of those vac's that you can run over the gravel, it works great and it's amazing how much waste is captured. I know its inportant not to disturb the gravel too much because of the bacteria and cycle, so how often should it be used?

Usually I clean a section of the gravel when I do the water changes. Since you have the underground filter, I'm not so sure if you need to do it that often.

Vacuum your gravel with every water change, it will only remove dirt not bacteria. Will have no effect on bacteria at all. Use additional filtration other than under gravel filter too. They really do very little (UGF).
