How Often To Feed Guppies?

Hi,

I am new to the forum, and have just started keeping tropical fish

I have started out with a 35Ltr Biube, and 3 Guppies.

I have been feeding them one meal a day, but have seen mixed views about how often to feed them. Some people say once a day, some 2-3 times a day, other every other day.

What is the correct way? Or is it more down to personal preference?

It is mainly down to individual fish and preference. If your filter cycled?

Assuming it is, my preferred feeding schedule for guppies is 4 times per week flake and pellets, 1 time live (frozen) food, 1 day no food. Feeding only as much as they can completely finish in 30 seconds and only once per day.

Agree with this, it would be very easy to overfeed 3 fish which could lead to poor water quality, especially in such a small tank.

I feed my guppy tank along with every other tank at a daily frequency but I don't worry much if I miss a day now and then.
