I currently setting up a 300ltr angel fish and discus set up, there are corries in aswell but thats got nowt to do with it).....anyway, I currently do a 25% water change once a week, I know its better to change more when keeping Discus but is it better to change more water or the same more often (or both?)

Ive been told to change 50% once a week which I thought was a bit much in one go and thought perhaps just doing 2 water changes a week 25% each time would be less stressfull.

Any suggestions?

25 to 50 percent weekly should be fine. Many of the people that do more changes are simply over zelous with water changes or they over stock their tank.

Do you guys keep / have kept discus??

I haven't, but hear that they water conditions need to be very good for breeding...

Will you be using prepared RO mick?

you've stated this already... but with not backup - please explain.

What water did you use with your discuss?
If RO (and I assume it would have been) what additives were you using?
were you breeding them?

That reply is not much more than a one word relpy :/
