How often do you change your CF bulbs?

Are they supposed to last longer than regular bulbs?

I've had mine running for for six monthes now, and I'm thinking I should order some new ones. I run them 10 - 12 hours per day.

people say to change every 6 mos right ? but such a waste... and does the 6 mo rule apply also to CF?? or only to the long tubes ?? the normal ones ?? hmmm

As far as im aware they dont need to be changed as ofton as ordinary flourescents, i was of the understanding that you could easily get 12 to 18 months no problem with CF tubes.
