I have:
2 angels ~5cm long each
1 blue gourami ~8cm long
4 yoyo loaches ~5cm long each
2 golden barbs ~4cm each
5 rosy barbs all under 2cm

I have pellet food, so far I've been giving them 1 decent pinch of food twice a day

that ok? i know they are going to grow so any advice on feeding later and if I add/change fish

I think the rule is to feed them no more than they can consume within 3 mins. I only feed my fish every other day,but that suits me and my fish. Have you looked into feeding more of a variety of foods..e.g bloodworm, cucumber etc?

i put some cucmber in but they didnt touch it, perhaps i didnt prepare it properly

i just got it out of the fridge, cut off a chunk and dropped it in, what should i be doing there?

any other common foods they can eat?

We weight our cucumber down so it sinks to the bottom.....most loaches like them. If you have prawns in your freezer, your fish will like those(defrosted),peas, lettuce, courgette to name a few. HTH.

I feed mine 3 or 4 times daily and use a combination of flakes, pellets, raw peas, and frozen brine shrimp. I put the food in tiny bits at a time never so much that it sinks to the bottom before being snatched. I feed until they start to loose interest. I also drop in a few small sinking brine shrimp pellets after turning off the light for the albino cories. Scott
