How Much Salt?

I have a 1 gallon container for raising and breeding brine shrimp for my guppies. I also have a bag of sea salt. How much should I put in? I got the fish store dude to just get me a little in a baggy so the directions arn't on the back. Please help! I want my fish to have the nummy shrimpies! Lol!
