How Much Longer Do You Reckon

Only had her a few days but she has got noticably bigger since and has started hiding away and her breathing today has increased, she is also very shy so i have put her into a 5.5 gal tank which is kept low light and in a quite place in the hope that if she is going to drop soon she will, or atleast become less shy and her breathing return to normal.
So having not had platies in years am asking the experts. Also she looks like she is starting to square off.
She doesn't look as big in this cause its at a slight angle

She began giving birth last night, spotted 2 before bed and have caught 3 this morning, have also found 2 dead

Thanks Jen, was a shock seeing them, thought she had a few days if not a week left

Edit: on a sad note looks like mum has gone am now more determind to keep babies alive and healthy

you should feed them baby brine shrimp and cyclops... babies love e'm. from experience i have found if you have water about 82* they will grow faster and stronger than if it were 73*

will do all i can to keep these little ones alive, although one has a slight upturning tail, am gonna give it a chance see if it straightens up, if not it will be kept seperate from other platies

exactly, and now my ratio is even worse, have 1 females 3 male but the wierd thing is the 3 males 'shoal' together and the females swims about on the opposite side of the tank, i think i have gay males
