How Much Gravel ?

Tanks all set up and cycling

Going away after work to LFS to get gravel but i'm unsure on how much i'll need

It's 190L corner tank i will be putting some live plants in so how much gravel will i need ?

totally unsure on this bit lol

also i'm looking to get live plants that will grow tall to hide my ugly unused internal filter .Whats the best to get ?

Looking for stuff that won't grow like mad and also plants that will be good for the fish if the deicde for a nibble or to hide in

Probably around 25kg of gravel for a tank that size.

If you aren't using the internal filter you can always remove it, a pallete knife can be used to cut the silicon. It's easy to do and only takes a few minutes.

If you still want to keep the filter something like Wysteria should do a good job of hiding it. It's a fast grower and it grows out as well as straight up:

I'll say to my other half to get a pallete knife ...I'm not really bothered about it but he has perfection issues and doesn't see the point of it being there if it's not being used ! lol

I'll have awee peek when i go to LFS tonight n see if i can pick some of the wysteria up
