How much do you spend?

Easily over $400, always buying something for the tank and i pay £5.00 on ro water every wk and it soon adds up.

Man I spend tonnes!!!! I don't know how much but you end up buying little bits here and little bits there and damn it ends up costing alot. E.g I went to take in some Guppy fry to LFS and Came out have ing spent £23 and having been given a female betta and glowlight tetra for free!!!

I probably spend somewhere around 50 U.S. dollars A year unless I buy a new tank or something cause I paid about $50 for my 10g.

$5 a week times 52 is about 110. Then add on any and all birthday money and money from aunts for no reason or holidays. Thta comes to over $400 easily.

I spend $100-$150 usually. It'll be more this year because I'm going to redecorate my tanks, buying new substrate, live plants, etc.

If I were buying fish... I'd probably spend 100.00 to 200.00 a year. But I'm not so I don't.

$400 at an lfs is not very much.

I easily spend that much just for food for my fish. And that will be the day when I go in to but worms and come out without buying anything else.

I would say I have spent about 6 to $7,000 US Dollars in the past year on my tanks. Now that has been from the start on 3 tanks a 65 gallon reef tank I ended up selling the complete setup (fish, live rock, water, tank, lights, stand, filter, basically the works) to my best friend. I only had it for 4 months and I wanted a bigger one ) That tank cost me about $1,800 US complete and I sold it to him for $650 US. My 125 gallon that I have now cost me about $4,400 US and still spending Plus my son's 10 gallon which I have about $140 into it. Once they are completely setup, I'm not sure what the yearly cost will be. I'm also considering turning my son's 10g fresh into a mini reef to breed clown fish and getting him a 25g fresh

probably around $400 - $500 a year (Aus.) i'm always pestering my parents to let me buy "Just one more fish, or just a few more bloodworms" the only thing that stops me is the amount of space we have...and my parents who arn't exactly fish crazy!
