How Many?

Hey, I have a 45l / 10 g tank (uk)
I know about the size ratio to litre.

But I want-

Neon tetras
Guppies
A Bristlenose plec

Maybe-
mollies
Swordtails
and some others.....

How many of each, would you recommend putting into the tank?
And what other fish are great in a community tank?

Neon tetras ~ Too active and require a group which IMO your tank can not house

Guppies ~ you could get away with a group of 5-6 Males

A Bristlenose plec ~ gets too big and is a poo machien

Maybe-
mollies
Swordtails

Again both of these are too big.


Ideally you want o be looking at fish no more than an inch adult size

If you want, though, balloon mollies stay pretty small...I have a ten gallon and keep 2 adult balloon mollies in my ten gallon, and I have for more than three and a half years though But if you were to do that and get 2 balloon mollies, I would only get maybe 3 male guppies.

If you keep up with the water changes then you can get away with having 4-5 male guppies and 4-5 male endlers.
