I'm guessing you mean 47UK gal as I'm coming up with 56.1US gallons by your dimensions.

If that is the case, you could go with a total of 15 adults.

You'll want to thin them out once you can sex them, which for most species would be around 2-3 inches. You don't want to wait longer than that because they reach sexual maturity around that size and then all heck breaks loose.
