How Many Times Should I Feed...?

How many times should i feed my fish?
I only feed them once a day with tropical flake food and once every week with a meaty food (freeze dried).
Is this ok?

Or should i feed them...
Morning-flake food
Evening-flake food
Night-Meaty food

Everyday?

Your regime sounds fine. It really doesn't matter though if you feed them like this, or if you divide the same amount into two or even three feeds; the important thing is sticking to the right amount. I stopped giving three feeds when I realised it was making me overfeed; I was just totally incapable of measuring out helpings small enough. But that's just me.
Some fish (fry particularly, but also small livebearers) might benefit from having their food spread out over several meals; other fish (like big predators) might only need to eat once a week. But most fish are fine with either once or twice daily, and a weekly fasting day does no harm.

I agree, keep what you are doing. It seems like the three times daily would result in over feeding. Depending on the fish you have, you may also want to add some veggies into the routine.

Ok, thanks ive tried cucumber and im about to try peas.
So should i feed them flakefood and a small amount of meaty food (freeze dry, blood worm, brine shrimp etc) a day?

I usually just feed them one thing a day. Some days I do flakes, others algae wafers, others shripm pellets, others blood worms, others cucumbers, and othertimes peas. If i have a group that won't eat what i've been feeding i just make sure I feed their favorite the next day. For example, my tiger barbs are chowing on cucumber, but my danios haven't left the top of the tank, too busy playing chase i guess, so i'll make sure they get something tomorrow.

Every Morning - Flake Food

The afternoon is when it changes...

Monday - Flake Food
Tuesday - Freeze-Dried Bloodworm
Wednesday - Algae Wafers
Thursday - Tablet Food
Friday - Froozen Tubiflex and Froozen Daphina
Saturday - Live Microworm
Sunday - I don't feed them in the afternoon

I believe this offers a fairly good routine and I will soon be adding veggie to the menu aswell

How many and what types of fish do you have? That is the important question.
You should also fill out your profile with your tank and fish stocking info at some point soon as well so you do not have to keep typing it out everytime somone asks you .

I feed mine once a day with a mixture of pellets, food sticks, granular food and wafers once a day but I starve my fish on saturday and and tuesday. I also give them frozen food and prawns (a firm favourite) once a week.
