Ok, so we're all fishy fanatics. But how much is too much? I was just wondering if there's a point for any of you when you're gonna say "Ok, no more tanks."

I started fishkeeping in December and I'm up to 8 tanks (7 up and running). And I want more. But I resist because I don't want my floor to cave in. :D Not until I can get a bottom floor apartment opposed to third story....

So how many tanks will y'all get before you say "too much"?

No limit whatsoever!Maybe when you have no room to get in or out of your room...but still! That`s what your friends/relative/parent`s houses are for!

Till they stop being fun and become just a pain in the ass....

Well I'm always saying I have too many tanks, but I always end up with more. As of right now....I won't be having anymore tanks cuz I definately have no room left  I've been thinking about setting up one of my 10 gallons in the downstairs part of my house, but I'm not sure yet -_-

I'm going to have to go with when the money runs out. If it comes down to buying food for you or the fish... you have a problem. That being said, I only have 1 tank. The minute I move into my own place I'm upgrading to as large as the floor will support for my living room (I really want a 125 or bigger as a room divider), and then my 35 will go in my bedroom, a something similar in my office area.

:*)

I've done that

Except I have a meal plan in the residence cafeteria so it's not too bad, but I also have a kitchen. I had no groceries that week.

I'm hoping to get a bigger tank and combine my mollies and guppies, so that I can kinda reduce the number of tanks I have running (also, natural selection is being beaten by the guppy reproduction rate  ). But I also know that after I combine them, I'll find another use for their old tanks.

there is definately a cut off point... and it's always the same...

just one more.....

When there is no room....then I may consider evicting the BF....he has in his study room a 6ft desk and a 5.5ft bed and numerous other things....I reckon I could get a 6ft tank, a 5ft tank and a 4ft tank in there -_-

He is not aware of my plans yet. He had better start being good!!!
