How Many Pounds Of Sand?

I recently got a 29 gallon tank and am planning out how I want to get it all set up and making lists of what all I need to buy. I'm getting very excited making my stocking lists and ideas for decorations! I think I've finally decided to go ahead with sand, but now I'm not sure how much to get! I found 20 pound bags of sand at PetSmart today...would one of those work, or would I have to get two? I've read that regular play sand is cheaper, but where would I find that? Would they have it at Home Depot or somewhere like that?

You want a pound per gallon. Play sand from Home Depot would be fine just make sure to rinse it a couple time.
