My betta is very healthy and active, but he is fed freeze dried food, and I want to make sure he doesnt get something like swm bladder disorder. Should I give him peas? If so, how many and how often?

I didnt know if they would or not, but I've had several references tell me that they should be fed peas.

My smallest female LOVES peas, hence her name Pea Princess. I feed mine a little bit of pea every week as a little treat. Just make sure your betta eats in all so it doesn't pollute the water at all.

I have two bettas and I split one pea between them about once a week. Sometimes it takes several tries before they will eat them, but they will usually come around. They will help with constipation, but I would not feed my bettas freeze dried bloodworms at all, frozen seem to be much better for them. I've heard a lot of bad things about the freeze dried and digestion problems.
