How many of visitors per purchase?

What percentage of people who visit an lfs make a purchase? If you don's know, what would your estimate or guess be?

Sometimes I go in just to look, but usually I'll leave with at least a small thing

I would guess 90% of visitors make a purchase. Generally people go to a fish store with a purpose.. to buy food,accesories, or fish. A small percentage would go just to view the fish tanks.

This is why I ask, I always see people in fish store not buy anything and leave.

On the other hand, a pet store with other pets such as cats, dogs , reptiles and birds would most likely have lots more customer just looking but not buying.
