How many can I stock in my 55 gallon with 11 cories?

Well what else do you want?
What species of cories?
What filter?
I have an Aqua Clear 70 and a sponge filter for 55G. 6 bronze and 5 panda cories. Once a week 75% water change and cleaning.

I would up it to 15ish corydoras. :) at that point not sure how many neons. You could do a lot though

I've never had a tank that big... But I assume you could fit 25 ish? Since you've got such a big tank I'de take the chance to get a big group of corydoras. 10-12 for each species maybe? Of course I'm probably not the best person to ask since these are just rough estimations.

How long is the tank, about 4 foot?

I had a friend with a 6ft tank and he had 100 neons and there was room for other fish. A 4ft tank could easily hold 50 neons with good filtration and regular water changes. Just make sure you quarantine them before adding to the tank so you don't introduce any diseases.

Id go 40-50 if it was me. They look amazing in a big group

In a Barnes and Nobel store outside the National Aquarium in Baltimore, there was/is a huge planted tank with dozens of neon tetras. It was/is amazing!
If neons and the cories were all you planed on, you could easily do 3-4 dozen neons, but I would only add a dozen at a time, giving the biology time to stabilize.

I'm basically on the same lines as others, sort of. If you only want neon tetras and cories, I would increase the cories to 20-25 (assuming this is a 4-foot tank). And you could easily do 70-100 neon tetras. Don't need that many, but the option is there. Also assuming floating plants. If you want other species, 20-30 neons, depending what other species. Cories are substrate fish basically, and neons tend to be mid-lower level. So you will have the upper 1/3 to 1/2 of the water empty with just these two. Hatchetfish? You have the space for a good group of the larger species, like the beautiful Platinum (Thoracocharax stellatus).

I had at one time 15 neon, 18 red eyed tetra, 10 ember, 6 glow light tetra and 2 cory and still seemed to have plenty of room in my 55 gallon. I plan on having 15 neoen, 15 glow light, 10 ember and 10-15 other small tetra when things open up again.

O

@Colin_T is that 50 plus the cories? I just ordered 6 more cories and that will bring them up to 17. I do QT. :)
