How Many More And What Fish?

55 gallon tank with a 110 gallon aqua clear filter
My current stockings are:

5x silver hatchets
8 tiger barbs
1x bolivian ram
1x african featherfin catfish

I was thinking about adding more tiger barbs(green,albino,gold), odessa barbs, or maybe a large schooling group(like tetras) that is small in size but i dont want to do more than 1 water change a week

theres probably 60 pounds of gravel and decor in there...i dont know exactly how much gallons are in the tank

what do you think some good ideas and numbers are considering my wanted options?

If you are keen on keeping down maintenance then you are right to keep to smaller species. Your plan of adding to the Tiger Barb shoal would seem a good one. Also how about a shoal of cardinals as well to add some extra colour.
The "odd one out" of your fish is, of course, the catfish. If he is small at the moment then he will not remain so. THese grow up to 20cm in length and are very long lived. Any catfish approaching anywhere near that size is going to produce a lot of waste, which will of course increase the need for water changes etc. Your smaller fish could also be at risk if he fancies a snack between meals.
If you are very attached to him, then you need to work out whether he is worth the effort of keeping, as he grows larger. Personally, I would be tempted to rehome him and get some smaller cats, like a few corys, which will total a much smaller body mass than a large synodontis. They would also "fit" rather more appropriately with the size of the others you have in the tank.

If you're thinking of tiger barbs then have a look at the emerald tiger barb. Saw them for the fist time about a month ago in an lfs.
Think of a green tiger barb but the green is paler and brighter. If I didn't have an angel then I would probably have picked up some there and then.
