How many Gallons??

I'm confused, would any one be able to help me, I always thought that our tank was 140 UK Gallons, but someone on our tread (see below 140 Gallon tank) has said that its 170 Gallons, would anyone be able to put me straight on this!!! the measurements are 201cm lengh 50cm width 70cm high.

I think I went through this with your better half!! :D My tank (the next smaller one of yours) works out to about 140g (this is US gallons not UK!!). Yours comes out at about 185 US gallons, but given the fact that the water level is lower than the top of the tank because of the struts, I would say 170g is about right!!
 
Liters=703.50
U.S. Gallons=185.72
This is the volume of air that a container of that size holds.
depending on the displacemant of subsrate, decoration etc.
the water volume will be proberbly 180 U.S. gallons
