Now i know Maths was never my strong point LOL but I am possibly getting a new aquarium that measures 80x35x45 cm and I have worked out that it holds 545 gallons of water  now even I know that its not right but how do I work it out please.

or maybe someone hasa fluval 800 and can tell me anyway.

Many thanks

Hi, there is an aquarium volume calculator at the top of the page just under the logo, next to where it says live chat, calender, search etc.

Your aquarium is approx. 126 litres(33 US gallons) 28 UK gallons

HTH :D

Best volume convertor is google.

Enter your dimesions like this into the google search bar:

80cm x 35cm x 45cm in US gallons

and you'll get your volume given when you search. You can also substitute in inches, UK gallons, litres.

Also works with converting volumes. e.g. Enter:

125litres in US gallons

Just remember that you are probably measuring the outside dimensions of the glass so need to take the glass thickness off. Also your substrate, wood, rocks etc. will displace a certain amount of water.

:good:
