Can anyone tell me approx how many galls/ltrs in 24x12x15 tank.

The formula for gallons is length x width x height in inches, divided by 231. So that means...about 19 gallons. To convert that to liters, just type in to google: "19gallons to liters" without the quotes. It turns out to be just over 71 liters.

i agree with the member above, its about 19gallons/71 litres, give or take a little, by intrest, what are you going to put into the tank when its set up?

thank you all for the information and interest, i have two beautiful gold fish at the moment, i bought these for my little grandson about ten months ago with a small plastic type tank and hood,air pump,gravel etc.
but they have out grown the tank so they are now the proud occupiers of a 24x12x15 glass aquarium.

now i have become bitten with fish bug and are looking for a suitable aquarium for myself ,but this will be a tropical collection.

so this site is invaluable to me i must say its a great website for a novice like me. once again thank you for taking the trouble to reply to me with my queeries.
