Hi,
It would appear that we are being given dodgy advice by out LFS. A month ago we bought a 28L fish tank and were advised to put a mix of cardinals, platties and zebra danios in it. I've just been advised by a member of this forum that Danio's require at least a 20G tank and the platies need 10G tank. What I now want to know is; without the advice of my LFS, are there any rules of thumb that give me a clue as to the size and type of fish that would live happily in my 26l tank?
Also, I've read the 10 Gallon tank sticky, does this apply (in proportion) to a 7 Gallon tank? What do I do about the existing fish? I could really use some sound advice.
