Hi all,

I have the following in my tank:

3 x pakistani loach
4 x cardinal tetras
6 x neon tetras
2 x rams
3 x Siamese Algae Eaters
2 x Dwarf Gouramies
6 x platys
2 x swordtails
6 x guppies

The tank is 50 US gallons, measuring 120cm (L) x 40cm (W) x 45cm (D). It is quite heavily planted with rocks and bogwood as decorations. I am adding DIY CO2, and the lighting is around 1.5WPG.

What do people think would be any sensible additions? I would like some more dottom dwellers, but I don't know if the loaches would fight with them. Was thinking about some sort of corydoras. Or perhaps a collection of small shrimps? Would have ideally liked some clown loaches, but I would want at least 4 of them and I don't know if the tank would be too crowded.

Any advice? Too many already?

Thanks,

Irf.

No clown loaches. The grow to be a foot long. They like to be in groups, so the tank would be way crowded.

I know most fish grow bigger eventually.... but a foot long???? :-( Surely that takes along time?

Anyway, thanks for your comment! So no clown loaches..... but am I at full capacity in the tank now? I am hoping I can add perhaps a couple of corys, or maybe a small catfish?
