I am looking to upgrade my current set up. I currently have a cleaner wrasse, a pajama wrasse, jewel blennie 2 humbugs and a royal gamma.

The tank wont have a sump.

I was hoping to have a dwarf angel, a goby and a pair of clownfish.

How many other fish could you put in without them being overcrowded.

Thanks.

May I ask why you are skipping on a sump? For a tank that size I couldn't imagine myself not using a sump.

Tank dimensions? What type of filtration will you run (how much live rock, what skimmer etc.)

Looked at lots of options for the new tank including one with a sump but eventually went for the new Red Sea Max 250. I know I could have got a custom job for the same money but couldn`t find one to suit the surroundings, which the Red Sea does perfectly.

I am going to include a Aqua one 2450 uv-c filter as well as as much live rock as I can get in . The tanks dimensions are 38 X 21 X 26.5 and has the Red Sea Skimmer with water throughput 1000 lph (240 gph) and max Air flow 300 lph (80 gph)

Hmm not a big fan of the RSM but i guess if you really want it, go ahead.

The skimmers junk anyway, it wont do much to help your stocking levels. The UV filter wont be necessary, but its nice to have on hand, you'd be better off with Ozone for parasitic control, but ozone can get complicated, and I don't know much about it myself.

What dwarf angel are you looking into and what pair of clowns? A pair of Maroons is a big difference to a pair of Perculas.

Thanks for your reply.

Currently looking a probably percula clowns and either a coral beauty or bicolour.
