i wanted to know how many cories can safely go in a 10 gallon tank with a trio of mollies.since my other cory died i wanted to know.
any info is appreciated
However, since corys do not produce a lot of waste, some fishkeepers only count them as half a fish when using the inch-of-fish-per-gallon rule. I think 3 mollies and 4-5 corys could live happily in a 10g.
Good luck with your new addition....... also corys are bottom feeders and mollies are generally middle ...with good water changes u could easily have 4-5 ........space shouldnt b an issue waste will be more
im thinkin about (if i get 5 )3 albino cories and 2 peppered cories
im also installing my extra sponge filter.if that will help with the waste load(the sponge filter is already cycled)
update.ive bought 3 albinp and 2 bronze cories and they are very happy.im going to wait 3 more weeks to add the molly.to get things equalized.they finished an algae wafer so they are all well fed
