What other fish? Just balloons? Mixed sex, or all male, or all female, or what?

More info would be good. And also, I'm assuming the tank is already cycled?

Also, consider, that if you do mixed sex, you'll have fry. I can pretty much gurantee you that. And figure each female has 10 fry per month...and you need 2-3 females per male. So that's probably at least 20 fry per month. There are other stocking options, and also some more info about fry in a topic I wrote Here.

My ballon mollies don't reproduce that fast. Maybe 1 every 4 months and even then they have like 5 fry and thats with 3 females.

1 pregnancy per 4 months? That's not normal...that would signify something wrong, to me, like stress, or disease.

But anyway, you still have to consider fry. Some Balloons are big fry producers, and it's best to be prepared.

I personally love balloon mollies. They are always so fat. They remind me of puffer fish, without the puffing part...
