How Long?

Since many catfish can get extra O2 from there intestine, and if the fish was kept moiste,

:dunno: ill guess at about 20minutes. :dunno:

Edit : this is probably a trick question

WELL.....

I had to move my 75gal last night which meant draining it to 10% capacity...removing all rocks and pots....relocating it (using heavy duty furniture removal wheels) refilling it snd adding rocks back. Ther time between rock removal and rock putting back was about an hour and a half (due to various reasons)..the tank however was refilled within 1/2 hour.

On putting the rocks back I noticed a bnose catfish (one of my now-male) babies. I assumed him to be dead so I picked him up asnd proceeded to send him off to the pond in the sky. Then he flipped out of my hand. AAAGGGHHH. He landed on the carpet upside down. Picked him up again and put him back into the tank where he happily swam away (phew)....

He is still alive this afternoon sucking away like nothing happened :D

SO.....my answer is at least 90 minutes!!!

Before anyone says it, I did shake everything I took out of the tank before I removed it, in the water. Hence me being so baffled.

wow thats quite impresive.
