How Long?

How long can you keep fish sealed in bags, with water and ample air, for a move? If you don't open it or provide them with aeration, what is the most conservative estimate as to the 'safe' interval? I have a 9 to 12 hour drive in my future, and I am planning on trying to keep all my fish and plants.

I don't see 9-12 hours being a major problem as long as they are packed properly in individual bags within a polystyrene container with a heat pack or several.


Just consider that imported fish are often in little bags for 48 hours or more.
