How long will plants that I've ordered off the net last out of the water? I've ordered some to be delivered to my office and so won't be able to plant them until the evening. Will they last ok, or will I need to invoke a mystery headache and go home early?

Pauly.

they should be fine mate
regards scot :)
although why not have a headache anyway lol and go get your hands wet :)

If packaged correctly in quality packaging then they will last a good duration of time.
Put it this way, George Farmer had a selection of plants properly packaged inside a cardboard box in a garage for 2 weeks before he could get round to using them. The plants were fine.

yeah most online companys pack them really well for eg in air tight seals so they dont dry out
ive left mine for days and the only prob i can see is the lack of light
hope that helps regards scot :)

Dont forget that most plants are sent a long distance before they even arrive at the shop, so the length of time to you shouldn't be much of a problem. In addition, most are grown emmersed so they can easily survive out of water for a long time.

should be fine mate, i post to my mate sometimes, in london!

i seal the bag with water =] and try not to let it get crushed lol
