How Long Until I Can Start Adding Fish Again Etc

I have columnaris =[

lots of fishies have died

what is the most sensible way to go about this?

should i empty the tank [there are fish left but we'll get to that later] and clean eveything?
or should i wait a few weeks before i do anything so it can die off? i dont know anything about the lifecycle of this though

Ive lost 2 clown laoches today, but i have a feeling that they didnt like the meds :\ even though i quarter dosed them, did a 50% water change then quarter dosed again [not all on the same day]

nothing else looks like it has it, but i dont want to take that chance on my poor fish

whats left is:
28g double filtration
2 baby clown loaches
6 silver tips
3 wcmm
2 swordtails
1 rummy nose
3 platys
1 danio
2 whiptails
1 hoplo
7 corys
4 male guppys
2 endlers
2 khulis

i just like to know what i should add once everything is okay, maybe bring the rummy noses up to 6? i never had six i took him off someone

can someone please tell me what to do, im so confused and upset

I had columnaris, and it was awful, waking up everymorning to a dead or dying fish.

Have you got a test kit?
test the water, and if its ok then start looking at the individual fish, if you suspect them to have it then quarenteen them in a hospital tank, after that monitor the tank for about a month and make sure there are no other fish that have it, do water changes of 50% whenever any fish have died, and do 30% weekly too, then after about a month as long as no other fish have symptoms or none have died in that time thats when i would start to add a couple more fish, but only in small numbers, not all at one, 1 or 2 every 2 weeks depending on size

my water quality has been perfect all the way through, i think the worst has passed now hopefully, too many fish to count have been lost =[
