how long until fry get bigger?

my molly came pregnant from the lfs, much to my surprise. she had her babies, but since she had them overnight, and i wasn't expecting it, only one survived. i've managed to catch it and put it in a floating breeding box. its been swimming around for abut three weeks now. what i want to know is how long does it typically take for molly fry to reach 1/2" or so so i can finally release the little bugger back into the community. the baby is slightly bigger than when born but not much............

have a higher temp than usual helps but not over the temp. they can take and feed them 5 times a day !! little bits of food its better that way and make sur ethe tank is clean so there isnt much toxins building up!! anyways one baby wont need much food... i read on here that the best thing to do is put some flakes into a plastie bag and crumble them into a powder then stick a wet tooth pick in the powder , pre wet the took pic and it will get some of the powder stuck to it and the put it into the breeding net thing remaber not to much food!!!

Hi to reach an inch in size it will usually take 2 or three months, so perhaps half that.

I believe the little guy should really be an inch (not half inch) when released with the others unless the others are really small fish.
