how long to wait

i went to petco today and they had a plattie sale, so I got a mickey mouse plattie, and I was wondering how long will it take him to make the 2 gals pregnate?

wow. thats a long time! I though theyd get pregnate right away. oh well. at least ill have some fry by september, i hope.

I imagine that as soon as he's settled in he'll be after having his wicked way with your females so you might find it doesn't take long at all.

Plattys are renowned for their fertility!!

theyre like guppie fry right? I have some now, and theyre kinda a pain, lol. they dont grow, then they do, but only 3, and now theres a bunch of dwarfs, well only 3, and some have color and some dont... theyre just so fun.

platties are born with color already right?
