I am in the process of starting a tank.
Its second hand, but in V good condition.

Have cleaned it and need to know how long to leave it once I have added water and Stress coat (Water treatment formulae) before I can

A) Introduce plants
B) Introduce Fish

I have a 81 Litre Tank

Can Anyone help

Leon :/

You can add the plants at any time. You only need to run it long enough to aerate it and get the temperature to par (overnight is good) before adding fish. If it's not cycled, don't add very many. If you are not familiar with cycling you should read up on it before getting any fish.

Hi leon :)

you need to cycle your tank first  .

take a look at the link below for some good info.....

If you don't want to fishless cycle (I didn't with my first tank purely because I didn't know fishless cycling expsted!) then I would suggest the first you buy should be hardy enough to survive a cycle.

I used four platys. They came through the cycle and are still going strong.

hope this helps.
