how long to get

in a 10 gallon? I added ammonia starting 3 days ago. This tank has had fish for two month but I've added a lot of meds recently so I thought it best to take all the fish out and re-cycle it.

I'm impatient, I know....

Any possibility of adding substrate from another more established tank? Getting some bacteria from another tank might help speed things up....

i would say at least a week or two. My 50 gal took about 2-3 weeks for a nitrite spike.
