How Long Till Platys Show Black Spot When Pregnant?

Just as the title says.
When does it start to show and how long does it take to have them?

It does not always show, the gravid spot can be daRK or light and sometimes not even present..

The best thing to go by is the size of them, when the backend of the belly drops down and the front drops, it will become squared off, that when they are not far off due.

Pregnant fish can have gravid spots and can also have no gravid spot

Non pregnant fish can have gravid spots and can also have no gravid spot.

Like i say, best thing to do is go by the size.
