How long for plants to grow?

Hey, so my tank is planted now and I'm just wondering roughly how long it will take to grow out (all plants are fast growers (hygrophila, ludwigia species)). Days? Weeks? Months?

Um...days really. I've already noticed new shoots on my new plants after a day. But if you take pics every week then you really notice the growth.

It depends very much on the conditions. Some plants, under ideal conditions, Hygrophila polysperma amongst them, almost grow before your eyes, some Aponogetons will produce a new leaf shoot at first light, and the leaf will be at the surface by lunch.

Under poor conditions, the same plants will struggle to stay alive and not put any growth on at all.
