How long does it take to get rid of cottonmouth

I been treating my betta with melafix for 9 days now and the cotton mouth is still there, how much longer can I treat with melafix.

It takes about 4 days of treatment b4 melafix starts to take effect =)

I have been using melafix for 9 days now and the cottony fuzz is stilll growing from his mouth, however he is eating again.

Are you doing daily water changes? Or adding a bit of salt?

11 days on melafix now! I am doing daily water changes and using salt and keeping the temp at about 80. I was hand feeding him today I grab ahold of one of the VERY LONG strings of fuzz and the whole ball of fuzz came out of his mouth, now he is eating like a pig and flaring at his neighbor. However his mouth isred so I will continue to treat him a few more days.
